Energy Savings and Problem Solving

After determining the concept was feasible at a cost, and that the cost had a marginally attractive payback, we moved forward and the new system was installed in July.  The opportunity to make progress on our sustainability vision made the marginal financial payback acceptable.

The picture shows the portion of the system that enters the plant from the vacuum room.  It’s not a glamorous project, but it will reduce our energy consumption for heating by about 25%.  Nice work Dan!
